We, at Adelaide Tamil Association, are glad to inform you that our most awaited and well-accepted "Deepavali 2023" is scheduled as below. We take this opportunity to invite various groups or organizations to perform their unique talents in this most famous and spectacular Deepavali celebration in Adelaide.

Africa Day Festival is run by the Africa Day Incorporated. We are a dedicated committee with experienced events organisers and managers. The 2023 event will be our 15th edition in South Australia. We have great perfumers visiting from Zimbabwe and Liberia together with Adelaide based performers all lined up for you on Saturday 27 May 2023 at the Therbaton Community Centre in the City of West Torrens.

The City of Burnside has announced the exciting news that Carols in the Park is back for 2022 after three years away.

After three years away due to COVID-19, the massive Christmas celebration of Carols in the Park is back in Hazelwood Park on Friday 9 December 2022. There will be live musical performances, entertainment, food trucks, activities for the kids and more.

At the end of festivities there will also be a screening of the classic Christmas movie, Elf, on an outdoor movie screen.

Over 3 days in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, we are combining our Food Truck Carnival with the spectacular artists of Cirque Nocturne. This will be a fun-filled family friendly event with breathtaking circus shows throughout the evening, interactive roving performances, and kids’ circus skills workshops.

Circus Shows:

Be amazed by the spectacular circus artists of Cirque Nocturne! This critically acclaimed Adelaide based circus company features a cast of nationally and internationally celebrated aerialists, acrobats, fire performers, dancers and more! The Beltaine Ball features three fabulous shows a night, each featuring different performances.

Roving performances:

Get up close and personal to Cirque Nocturne’s artists! Be delighted by interactive and intimate performances by fire artists, acrobats, jugglers, snake charmers and more!

Workshops:

Our fun kids’ circus skills workshops will be running daily during the Beltaine Ball. Taught by professional circus instructors, kids can get a hands-on experience of the circus and learn skills such as stilt walking, juggling, hula hooping, poi-spinning, flowersticks and more!
